Pantene is hosting its third annual National Donate Your Hair Day on Saturday, November 22, 2014!
Pantene’s campaign, Beautiful Lengths, is a partnership with the American Cancer Society, that hopes to encourage people nationwide to donate their hair to have it turn into free, real-hair wigs for women with cancer.
In honor of the day, Pantene is hosting free cut and style at participating salons in New York City, Los Angeles, and Miami, for anyone interested in donating hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths on National Donate Your Hair Day.
If you are looking to participate and are not local to any of those cities, there are still ways you can donate your hair. Many salons offer to donate your hair after purchasing a hair cut, but you can also donate your hair yourself.
Pantene offers a great Do-it-yourself chart that shows just how:
Pantene is not the only place one can donate their hair to help a good cause. If you are interested in donating your hair, be sure to check out Locks of Love, and Wigs For Kids as other options to donate your hair to.
Celebrate National Donate Your Hair Day this year and turn your long locks into beautiful wigs that build confidence. Sport a short do knowing you helped someone else where a beautiful hairstyle that was not possible otherwise.
