Monofilament wigs have a base that is created from a gauze-like, fine-grade nylon material, and is naturally transparent. Then, each strand of hair is tied by hand to the nylon materials, allowing for the wig to part naturally.

Some of the advantages of these high end wigs are that the top of the wig shows your natural skin color, they replicate the look of a real human scalp, and they move freely just like real hair.
